In the context of the WTO Chairs programme, trapca by virtue of being a new WTO Chairs Programme member joined over 70 participants ranging from WTO secretariat, WTO Chairs Programme board members and universities from all regions of the world. During the course of this trapca is poised to carry out research covering the following areas: e-commerce, trade remedies and preference utilisation. The research will squarely focus on African lens type issues with a view to filtering down the outputs into regional and continental economic integration discourse. Moreover, trapca will review its curriculum with a view to ensuring its relevance to the capacity needs of African countries.
