TRAPCA hosts 49 participants in our flagship MSc in International Trade Policy and Trade Law advanced courses

Over the past eight weeks, at ESAMI HQ, the home of trapca, we had the privilege of hosting a talented and diverse cohort of 49 participants in our flagship MSc in International Trade Policy and Trade Law advanced courses, offered in both French and English. This group comprised 20 Francophone delegates (35% women) and 29 Anglophone delegates (62% women), representing 24 African nations, mostly low-income countries (LDCs), and underscoring our commitment to inclusivity.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in intensive study across four core modules:

  • Digital Trade & Development (TRP 526)
  • Regional Economic Integration & Trade Facilitation (TRP 507)
  • Economic & Legal Aspects of Trade in Services (TRP 504)
  • Legal & Economic Aspects of Intellectual Property & Competition Policy (TRP 225)

Each course combined rigorous theoretical foundations with practical case studies, equipping graduates to navigate—and shape—the evolving perspectives of African and global trade.

Our advanced curriculum is delivered by trapca’s dedicated resident experts, complemented by leading international trade practitioners drawn from organisations such as the WTO, UNCTAD, World Bank, regional economic communities, WIPO, and top universities across Europe and Africa. By uniting local and African expertise with global perspectives, we continue to equip the next generation of trade professionals ready to accelerate Africa’s integration and economic transformation.
