“I joined ESAMI-trapca in 2018, by then I was an entry level Investment Promotion Officer in the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Malawi. I obtained my Postgraduate Diploma in 2019 and MSc in 2021. The knowledge, skills and the hands-on experience I gained throughout my education have been very invaluable and key in shaping my career path. By 2020, I was promoted to a middle level position of Principal Investment Promotion Officer and was part of the Bilateral Investment Treaties and AfCFTA investment Protocol negotiation team. Since 2022, I am serving as the Trade Attaché in the Malawian Mission in London responsible for the UK, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Portugal and other countries as well as the Commonwealth, International Sugar and International Coffee organizations.
