Shylet Nyabeze is a trade facilitation expert contracted for a period of 8 months from November 2022. She is a TRAPCA alumnus with an MSc in International trade policy and trade Law (Lund University), she also holds an MSC in Fiscal Studies( NUST, Zimbabwe), and a BSc Honours in Economics(UZ). She is a Customs and international trade professional with over 14 years of experience in trade policy administration, trade facilitation, risk management, customs modernisation, rules of origin, and capacity building in a host of border regulations and procedures which she acquired at the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority, where she has been in various customs functions since 2009. She has also contributed to major national projects on trade facilitation alongside national consultants.
