The Trade Policy Training Center in Africa (trapca) was inagurated in December 2006 with the mandate of providing training and technical expertise on trade issues to professionals in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and low income sub Saharan Countries. Situated in Arusha, Tanzania, the Center operates under the auspicies of the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) and Lund University in Sweden.
